Following the script - We stuck very close to the script throughout filming. For the dialogue sections of the script (Britney and I's lines) we followed the script exactly, but when it came to the types of shots we used e.g. the pan down to the news reporter scene with Amelie and Josh in it, we decided to not use the pan as we preferred the traditional stationary camera movement on a news report more. Another example of a change was at the start of Britney and I's talking sequence set inside the house, because originally we were meant to zoom out from the center of the clock, but it was far too difficult as the camera did not zoom in far enough without disrupting the pan to the characters, so we did a close up of the clock (rather than the center) and panned the camera to the characters which proved to be much more effective. One of the main problems that occurred was the lack of rain (since in our script it was meant to constantly rain) so we adapted; throughout the filming in my house, Amelie and I threw cups of water on the glass windows and on the patio outside to create the effect of rain, where as when we went into central London; Amelie and I brought water bottles to create puddles on the ground, as we had to work with the circumstances of the weather.

Since the script does not show our idea of Billy as the mute character clear enough, I came up with the idea that we could put a caption with the definition of a mute person and Elizabeth drew the picture on the top left of Billy to show how we would change the script when editing.

Following the storyboard - We added quite a few scenes to the storyboard when we were filming, mainly ones that filled in gaps e.g. the walking scenes in the Barbican had only three frames in the storyboard but we found so many perfect places to film that we wanted to extend that section. The storyboard was a good outline for what type of angles we needed to film as it helped guide us e.g. the starting scene of the clock/ the shoe stepping the puddle scene but we also played around and experimented with other shots along the way that I think turned out great e.g. using more canted shots to show and foreshadow that something is not quite right.

Following the production schedule and risk assessment - We have to update our production schedule because after both of our designated filming days, we decided to go to Canary Wharf to film some news reporter scenes, which was not previously on our production schedule. On the whole, we have followed our production schedule effectively, which has really helped us keep on track and stick to our personal deadlines, mainly for the footage we filmed (disregarding the scene with our Spanish news presenter, Elizabeth, that we previously filmed in Canary Wharf but we have to re-film due to the poor sound quality of the clip -because of the wind). We have now got all of our footage (apart from Spanish news presenter) and we'rein a great place to start editing. We have had no need to update our risk assessment as we followed all the precautions well and were careful e.g. watching for slip hazards.
